President's Message
Dear International College of Dentists Fellows, Friends, Sponsors and Generous Donors,
2024 brings much excitement, challenges, and opportunities to look forward to. The ICD USA Section Foundation is up to the task!
Your generosity is unparalleled in numerous ways supporting humanitarian efforts, education, public health, and leadership. What a gift you have, to be skilled as a dentist to make people better every day. PLUS, your contribution to the Foundation whether small, large, or in-between, further expands these efforts in the United States and globally.
The ICD USA Section Foundation Trustees warmly welcome ICD Fellows in the Class of 2023 and ALL classes to be aware of the Foundation's impact: helping tens of thousands improve oral health annually. This happens through ICD USA Section Programs, General Grants, Fellow Stimulus Grants, and the Product Grants in collaboration with Henry Schein Cares and the Worldwide College Global Visionary Fund. In 2023, $87,500 was given to General Grants; $16,000 for Fellow Humanitarian Grants; outreaches; dental health education; cleft and craniofacial deformity care; eight dental student scholarships of $2,500 each; Henry Schein Cares grants of $25,000 cash and $33,000 in Henry Schein donated products, and more! Each recipient is outstanding and very appreciative to receive funding.
