Applied Stretegic Plan Update - Shadow Team Volunteers Needed
Retreat I of the USA Section Applied Strategic Planning (ASP) conference was held March 25-27, 2012 in Savannah, GA.  Eighteen committee members participated in the very positive and stimulating sessions with facilitator, Dr. Bob Frazer.

The first session concluded on a very positive and optimistic note, and we hope to share this enthusiasm and commitment with all of our USA Fellows.  The ASP Committee members will be collaborating with Volunteer Shadow Team Members.  This should require less than two and a half hours of time over the next three months, but will allow you to review the highlights of Retreat I and provide your thoughts and input for the desired future of our Section.  If you are interested in helping create the future of USA ICD, then we encourage you to join a Shadow Team - Please contact Dr. Carol Turner at regusa@usa-icd.org. All you need to say is – “I’d like to serve on a Shadow Team or ST”– then your ST leader will forward material for you to review and offer comments.Keynotes line
StampCollectionDonationGiftThe John B. Lathrop Memorial Fund Created
Many Fellows remember John for his love and devotion to the International College of Dentists. He served in many leadership positions including President of the Section and was the President of the Foundation at the time of his tragic passing. John was also an avid collector of dental theme stamps from around the world with over 600 stamps in his collection. These stamps were generously donated to the Foundation by John's wife, Ruth. Those who donate at the Founders Level of $1,000 or more will receive an engraved Stamp Collections with five or six dental stamps as seen in the photo while supplies last.

On behalf of the USA Section and Foundation, we would like to thank Ruth Lathrop for donating this wonderful collection of dental stamps to the Foundation in memory of her husband.   Read more »
