Georgia ICD Hosts French Dental Students
August 2005.
Members of the Georgia constituency of the International College of Dentists acted as hosts for four dental students visiting from Nice, France. Doctors Marie Schweinebraten, an Atlanta Preiodontist, and Christopher McFarland, Prosthodontist, also husband and wife, arranged the visitations through their contacts as visiting Professors at the French Dental School in Nice.
Deputy Regent, Paul Isler was the facilitator for the hosting activities of the four students and also arranged a dinner at the French Restaurant, Atmosphere, in Atlanta where they were introduced to their hosts.
During their two week stay, the students visited the Dental School at the Medical College of Georgia and had numerous opportunities to observe working procedures in various dental offices of ICD Fellows.
The Social Activities concluded with a typical Southern Bar-B-Que at the Lake Burton home of Vice Regent Henry Diversi. The Diversi's, Hank and Joan, as well as daughter Jennifer, ICD Fellow and Periodontist, along with other members of the Diversi Family, gathered with the Hosts and Students for a full day outing.
