Dear Fellows,

Upon his promotion to Vice Regent for District 4, Ed Morris asked that I assume his position as Deputy Regent for our Maryland Chapter. As such, my first official function is to conduct our annual meeting.

Included in this edition of THE PASS KEY is the meeting agenda.

We have planned a rather ambitious schedule in order to begin an effort to institute more service opportunities for our Maryland members. To address this goal, I have invited the Vice President of our USA Section, Dr. Margo Culotta-Norton, who will briefly describe those programs currently in place in the USA Section.

Additionally, our featured speaker for the evening will be Ms. Nancy Kelly. She is a founder and current executive director of “Health Volunteers Overseas.” HVO offers many opportunities for dental volunteers.

Given the wealth of talent already demonstrated by the 101 members in our Maryland Chapter, I certainly feel that we have much to offer both internationally and to our local community.

There will be time reserved for you to express your ideas as to how our component can serve.

I certainly hope that you will make plans to attend. You input and participation
is vital.

See you on the 20th!

Jim Taneyhill
Deputy Regent
