ICD is proud to team up with Special Olympics to offer a national directory of dentists willing and able to give Special Olympics Athletes a dental home for continued comprehensive care!

Dentists:
  • All dentists interested and comfortable to treat people with intellectual or developmental impairments are welcome to be listed as a resource for Special Olympics.
  • Participation with Medicare and Medicaid is not a prerequisite but is surely welcomed and needed. Offices will be designated that accept Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Pro bono or discounted fees are not expected but also welcomed.
  • By agreeing to give Special Olympics Athletes a dental home, you are giving the gift of dental health, a smile, and dignity everyone needs in this world. We appreciate your generosity and humanity as you are truly making a difference.
  • Your name will be listed in your state so interested parties can find you.
  • We cannot guarantee how many Special Olympics Athletes will call on you.
  • Participants are also encouraged to sign up for “Special Smiles” dental screening events. See your state’s Special Olympics Athletes site for event dates and times.
