Message from District 1 Regent, Eliot Paisner:
I am going to do it! This seasoned guy plans to ride the 2019 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), a 192 mile 2-day bicycle ride from Sturbridge, MA to Provincetown, MA.
The purpose of the ride is to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I am inspired to this challenge by my little friend and hero, “CC”, a 3-year-old boy recently diagnosed with leukemia. CC is bravely undergoing extensive treatments for his cancer at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. 100% of the funds raised go to Dana Farber research
. My fundraising goes directly to blood disorder cancers. Help me reach my goal of $5,000 before I take to the roads on August 3, 2019.
I understand there are many wonderful causes we all contribute to. I plan to continue to give to my other favorite charities as well as the PMC. Won’t you consider doing the same?
The first PMC was in 1980 when the survival rate of leukemia was 10%. Today the survival rate is 90%.
Donating is easy.
